Ministries

We have an array of ministries for you to be involved in. Including helping others in our Food Pantry ministry, working with children in AWANA or Sunday School classes, playing in the Orchestra, singing/playing Special Music, singing in the Choir, working with senior saints in Golden Sunshiners, helping lead a service for the Nursing Home Ministries, and much more!

(All of our volunteers that work with children are required to have a background check on file in the church office.)

Unfortunately, everyone who desires to hear the Word of God preached is not able to make it out to the physical church building, so we bring the church to them! On the fourth Sunday of every month at Hospitality House in Massillon and on every fifth Sunday at Astoria in Canton, we preach and sing to these senior saints, sharing the Word to those who would not otherwise be able to hear It.

Street Evangelism

We believe that "Go ye into all the world" applies not only to foreign missions but also to us as we share the Light with those in our community. Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7 pm, during the non-snowy months, we pick up where Paul, Peter, John and other early church leaders left off: bringing the Gospel to the streets. We preach, hold Scripture signs, and shine as a beacon of Light in our community.

Parades

Anytime the world brings people together, we like to be there to present them with the Gospel. Multiple local parades occur each year in our area for various reasons: Memorial Day, Football Hall of Fame, Christmas, etc. We enter a float in these parades with a giant cross on the back, Scripture verses on the side, and surrounded by members of our church giving bags filled with candy and tracts to the people in attendance.
